Vic’s career humbly started in New Orleans as an Auto Prep Associate from which he took his roots and appreciation for transportation. “I learned and observed the simple but important truth that a vehicle was not just a thing you buy, but a part of someone’s everyday life. It reflected who they were regardless of social status or income level.” Also, Mr. Dehon developed an appreciation of teamwork, of “we” and “us”, when working with staff members and when serving the customer.
Kathy is basically “Switzerland” within the dealership. She is undeniably an extremely sensible, calm, and collected person. Dealerships, like any business environment with alot of moving parts, can get very complex and always runs the risk of being disorderly. Kathy’s super power is keeping us all well-knit, organized, and running smoothly. She is a huge book worm and will read anything you put in front of her eyes from cover to cover. We are always grateful for her diligent work at Champion.
Cheryl is most likely to be the first face you see or talk to here at Champion, and this is a major responsibility as it directly reflects on our company. Thankfully, she is the perfect person for this duty as she shows genuine concern for our customers, empathizes with their needs, and does everything she can to assist. She loves cooking, but rarely brings any of it to work for us to enjoy too (but from what we hear, it’s really good). She’s been with Champion since the Y2K scare, and has been committed to making customers happy ever since.
Melissa, a Bay St Louis Mississippi native, has been with Champion since 2009 and brought with her 17 years of Automotive experience. She practically walked off stage of her high school graduation and right into a dealership, of course after taking a few breaks to go boating and mud riding first. Melissa loves working at Champion, and she says the reason is because of all the great people she gets to work with on a daily basis. We’re family to her, and she’s family to us.
